We should know something very soon. As soon as we know you will. Todd>>>>
That wasn't a fun day, yesterday. But I guess now I am over it, and have come to terms that there are just some things that I cannot control. I got upset when I looked at the Southwest airlines website just to find out that all the flights we wanted to go on for Las Vegas were being booked up like hotcakes. Well I came to the relization that what ever happens, happens. There is no use in getting upset about it.
LESSONS LEARNED:
1. Know what you are getting involved in before you get involved.
2. Pay attention. (Was told that they decided on a date for this trip at the beginning of the season). I had no idea that it was set in stone for the 21 - 24 of May.
3. Plan this more than 3 months in advance, most web sites allow booking trips 180 days in advance. That will give people plenty of time to change their minds.
4. Make sure the person planning the trip is actually going on the trip. Makes me think that if you are going, your going to care about how much it costs.
5. I understand that paying weekly makes it easy to disipline yourself to pay for your hotel and airfare, but now I wish I would have just put the money in the bank in a seperate account and just had the $13 a week transferred to it. Funny how $13 a week adds up.

Now I'm getting PISSED OFF!!!!

Alright now I know that some people have nothing to do with this Vegas trip that I am getting ready to go on, but my buddy and I are trying to just simply change the dates that we are going. Now here is the problem, nothing has been booked yet, we are trying to get our money back, but the guy in charge of booking our trip won't call me back. Now here is the problem, I may be going to China during the time frame that the group is going so I may not be able to go with them to begin with. Second, they picked the most expensive week in the month of May to goto Vegas, if we go the next week it will save us about $100 per person. Third, if we can get our money back, the flights are selling out like hot cakes for the cheap fare for the week Richard and I may be going, hence pissing me off, I'm just trying to get my ass to Las Vegas with my buddy and hoping to do it as cheap as possible. So here is what I believe our situation should be, either book the freaking trip so we are all going together, or give me my freaking money so Richard and I can book the trip the following week, month, year whatever it is just so we can book the trip. Lesson learned, never let someone who isn't going on the trip plan it for the group, now granted he may have originally been planning on going, he might of backed out. This has been the poorest planned event I have ever been involved with, they didn't even call a travel agent to find out what the cheapest week to go as a group was, instead 9 months before the trip they must have agreed that the 3rd week in May was it. Thanks for listening to me vent LATER>

Cirque du soleil DELIRIUM

You know what I am a huge fan of the Cirque du Soleil, but the three of us that spent $120 per seat for the show last night, were left well how do you say it exactly "disappointed". You don't pay $120 for a concert normally, well that is pretty much what we paid for. There was very little acrobatics that normally come with a show, and this was very disappointing. This has been the 4th show that Faye and I have been to see and what can you say other than we felt ripped off. I remember that the first show "Mystere" in Vegas was $85 per ticket, I about lost my mind that Faye would pay that, well I would have spent $120. Now want to talk about worth the money, well for $85 you got a show and a concert. Just not what we are used to, didn't much care for it and we all wish we still had our $120 in our pockets. The performance was good, and I would have felt much more satisfied if I had only paid $40 per ticket. Shame on the Cirque du soleil for over-inflating their prices. SHAME SHAME SHAME. I understand that it takes a lot of money to put on a production, but come on $120 per person, what a rip off. We should have all demanded a refund.

Woo Hoo another 15 die in cartoon protest!!!!

Keep going idiots and eventually you will kill yourselves off. (I hope) you keep trying to get your message across, I figure 10-15 a day @ 365 days we will eventually be rid of all your religious politics. I'm truly not celebrating, I just find it funny that after 3 weeks you have nothing better to do. Why don't you go out and help an old lady cross the street somewhere??? Instead you go and trample one another, then throw rocks and burn shit. I'm just truthfully tired of hearing about how you have been offended. You say we are pushing our beliefs on you, well what do you call this? You pushing your beliefs on us. All religion seems to do is cause problems anymore, call it the devils tongue if you must, but all that I see coming out of religion anymore is chaos. Every different religion seems to think they are right, well go to you little building that you believe makes you better and celebrate your religion and leave the rest of us alone. I AM TIRED OF IT. Your a bunch of hippocrates. Religion doesn't tell you to go out and kill people, it doesn't tell you to tear stuff up, it teaches tolerance and faith. GET IT!!!!!

Let's hear it for the IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a bunch of freaking IDIOTS, these people rioting over a freaking cartoon. Your a bunch of retards and you wonder why the world hates you. All this does is give you morons a good reason to go out and tear shit up. This has been going on for what? Three weeks now? You've made your point, now get over it and move on. Another 10 people were killed today, how many more have to die until YOU MONSTERS are happy? All you have now done is shown what uneducated monsters you all really are. I for one am tired of your religious politics, you ever notice that people won't talk about religion or politics, well you have all combined them into one thing. We are tired of them, this didn't happen in your country, people are tired of hearing about your icon and how there was a cartoon drawn. WHIPdee DO. Let's go out and kill our own people, and burn a bunch of shit up, you kind of remind me of those morons that tore their neighborhood up in LA years ago.

Another SHITTY work week down the drain

What a crappy work week, we were extremely slow, didn't have much to do except look busy. Don't care if we have a slow day every now and then but 4 straight 12 hour shifts of NOTHING. Very little work trickled in during the past 4 nights which makes me worry, beings we are in contract bargaining right now. Makes me wonder how much the company has to do with this huge slow down. I haven't seen it this slow in the 5 years I have worked there. Anyway the week sucked the big one and I am looking forward to the weekend. Just hope everything picks up next week. HERES TO WEEKENDS.

Just for FUN!!!!

A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they were drawing. She would occasionally walk around to see each child's work. As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was. The girl replied, "I'm drawing God." The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what God looks like." Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing, the girl: replied, "They will in a minute."

The grass isn't always greener..................

I will never pretend to know what it is like to live in your shoes, but I can tell you for a fact that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Look before you leap that is truly all I can say. Take your time and think before you act, things may be just fine. Just think "how much greener is it really". NOT MUCH.
